The Spirit of Chicago is one of a chain of Spirit ships in waterfront cities around the United States (others are in Norfolk, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Washington and Richmond, Va.). Just a notch less fancy than its competitor the Odyssey, the Spirit of Chicago has dining cruises as well as late-night on-board parties. During lunch or dinner, one of the Spirit's cabaret acts performs. For those who prefer to stand on the decks after eating, the ship has a map of the attractions it passes, from the John Hancock Center on the north to McCormick Place on the south.
