Raging Waves

This massive Australian-themed water park opened in June 2008 and has been slowly bringing in larger crowds as word spreads. True to its name, the centerpiece is an aggressive wave pool; other features include a giant lazy river and a raft-ride that fits up to four riders. Lounge chairs are pocketed in areas around the park, including alongside the wave pool and in an open sandy area. No outside food is allowed, but two restaurants feature eats ranging from pizza to wrap sandwiches.
