The Garfield Park Conservatory contains exotic plants, flowers, cacti, trees and other flora from several different regions. With 4.5 acres of indoor landscaping, it is one of the world's largest gardens under glass. The conservatory runs informative workshops such as "The Healing Properties of Herbs" and "Crafty Cuttings." Floral displays change with the seasons. Fountains and small waterfalls make for a pleasant and serene indoor environment. The building dates back to 1906 and is nestled in the northern section of Garfield Park.
