An all-indoor park in the heart of Edgewater, Broadway Armory is able to make room for all sorts of unusual games and hobbies. There are six gym floors, a dance hall, a meeting room, a computer center for multimedia, unusual basketball and volleyball courts, a batting cage, fencing equipment, shuffleboard and weights. Plus, Julio and Gloria Gaona run a private trapeze class through the Armory where enthusiasts can learn the art of swinging.

Also find: a photography darkroom, a piano, an arts and crafts room where stained glass classes are taught, a room for ballroom dancing which is especially popular with Edgewater's senior citizens, The Park Kids afterschool program and summer camps, line dancing, adult aerobics, and ping-pong.
