I stayed here in the late summer for the fashion expo. They were having serious problems with their computers and there was a line out the door to check-in. Finally an employee (stephen) took me up to my room and delivered a key for me later on. Not only was he one of the nicest guys he was really HOT!!!! He definetely made the stay for me :)

I didn't stay at the Hotel but I hung out in the Lobby . The bartenders were great and the vibe was pretty cool. Drinks were average but pricy and then I went in to the store to buy cigarrettes for $8!!!! I was surprised to find some pretty cool clothes in the shop and the guy working the store was pretty funny. Had a good time will probably book a room next time I'm in town.

I usually travel for business several times per month and stay at many hotels worldwide. We decided to treat ourselves for Memorial Day stayed in our home town and stayed at the Hard Rock. In my opinion this is the best hotel in Chicago! The beds are just AMAZING and the views are great. I like the trendy atmosphere as the staff is extremely friendly and goes out of their way!

The Hard Rock was a great hotel. The location, service, decor, food, room amenities - all were excellent. I would recommend the Hard Rock to anyone and look forward to staying there on my next trip (work or leisure) to Chicago. Thank you Hard Rock, we will be back!

Spent the night here May 29. This place still hasn't worked out its kinks. Arrived one hour before check in. There were two lines with about 7 people a piece in each. It took over an hour to get my room. The guests in front of me were having trouble with their online reservation and the clerk sat on the phone for 45 min on hold to straighten it out. Did not bother to start checking in the other people in line. The other line was not moving fast by any means either. By the time I checked in the line was going out the door. Getting our car the next day was about the same. Called down 15 minutes before leaving. After waiting in the lobby another 15 minutes I asked the clerk where my car was. From his look it was obvious they hadn't even started looking for it. A half-hour later it showed up. The room was not too special either. Trendier than other hotels but the "Hard Rock" vibe was not there other than a couple of nice pictures.

I went for the Valentine's weekend. Not only did we get in to our room 2.5 hours late, it was the wrong room. Then the breakfast in bed that was promised, never came. We ordered at 9 am then had to leave at 11:45. No one even cared to fix the problems that were occuring. I know it is a new hotel, but come on don't promise things you can not even come close to delivering. My boyfriend and I ended up fighting regarding the fact that were were ripped off.
