Week of December 3
5 things we're loving this week:
Lincoln Park bar Matilda. When the wait at DMK Burger Bar runs over the 90-minute mark, this low-key hangout down the street is a fine plan B.
$10 pitchers of Cabin Fever brown ale from Michigan’s New Holland Brewing Company at Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant. If there’s a better craft-beer deal in the city, we’re not aware of it.
Very Best Vintage. We’re smitten with this well-organized, sherbet-hued vintage boutique selling clothing and accessories from the ’20s through the ’80s.
Lincoln Square newcomer LM Le Restaurant. Thanks to a cozy space, great service and eggs Benedict ($13) that rivals Tre Kronor’s (3258 W. Foster Ave.), this might just be our new favorite brunch spot.
The $9 kobe burger with your choice of side at Blue Line Lounge and Grill. That’s a real deal (everyday!), and it’s real delicious.
