Breath is an essential connection between mind and body. Vidya Nahar, ERYT discusses and demonstrates several breathing techniques including bandhas (locks) used in Pranayam - Yogic Breath Regulation System. Prana is manifested through breath. It is energy flow. Pranayam is conscious control of inhalation, retention and exhalation of breath. Discover that a person can actually alter the state of mind and body through the right kind of breathing. Regular practice of Pranayam helps prevent frequent sinus infections, runny/blocked noses and helps with relaxation. Note: Bring a yoga mat to class. Pre-registration required.
