YAMO, Evanston Township High School’s annual student revue, opens for a seven-night run in the school’s Upstairs Theater. This student-run production involves over 100 students as writers, directors, actors, singers, musicians, and stage crew and always draws sell-out audiences. This year’s laugh-fest, subtitled “YAMO Comedy Network,” takes the audience on a rapid-fire, TV channel-surfing adventure that explores the crisis in Greece, public transportation, swearing, girls’ nights out, the Star Wars Cantina band, and many more issues important to today’s culture. Most performances begin at 7:30 p.m., except on Sept. 16 when it begins at 4 p.m. Tickets are available online at ETHS’s theater site. Parking for YAMO is best in the school’s rear parking lot; enter off of Lake or Church streets.
