Learn about the contributions made by women during World War I from author and historian Kathryn Atwood. Millions of women mobilized for the war effort in a variety of ways. In the process they became powerful symbols both in government propaganda efforts as well as in the women's rights movements of the day. Author will sign books immediately following lecture.
