A fun-filled afternoon celebrates Tu B’Shevat, hosted by the Sisterhood of Ezra-Habonim. Lunch is followed by games of Bingo with non-cash prizes for winning. “Tu B’Shevat is literally the ‘New Year of the Trees,’ and in contemporary Israel, the day is celebrated as an ecological awareness day,” says Judy Frank, president of the Sisterhood.
