Much has been written about the importance of these fairs to the history
of Chicago and the U.S., as they brought attention to city as a
cultural and tourist destination. Author David Clark explores the
methods and hardships of moving around the globe
as people traveled to see what the future held at the Chicago fairs.
This program is presented as part of the Terminal Town exhibit from the
the Chaddick Institute for Metropolitan Development at DePaul University
with Lake Forest College and generous sponsors.
