Garfield Park Conservatory's latest plant display features "Venus flytraps, sundews and pitcher plants — three different styles of hunter, all of them flora trapping their insect prey," according to the conservatory's website. "Catch them in action at Garfield Park's outdoor Sensory Garden, part of the Chicago Park District, for a few more weeks." That's when the evening temperatures will fall to low for the plants to be out and about. In late September, park horticulturists advise calling ahead to make sure they'll still be on display.
