Storyteller Jenny Riddle tells the story of Shirley Temple Black at this fall luncheon. As a child star, Shirley Temple was the darling of Americans suffering through the Depression. As an adult, she served in the United Nations and as Ambassador to Ghana and then Czechoslovakia. Proceeds support the Marianjoy Auxiliary and the Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton.
