In Nat Cassidy's play, dubbed a "metaphysical buddy comedy," famous Elizabethan playwright Christopher "Kit" Marlowe has been stabbed. As he is dying, he is visited by the ghost of insane Roman Emperor Caligula (also known as "Little Boots"). Caligula walks Marlowe through their respective pasts as they examine fame, writing and more.
