Start the Halloween celebrations early and enjoy pumpkins, sweets and all things autumn in the heart of the South Loop on Tuesday, Oct. 28. The British School of Chicago is holding a family-friendly festival to embrace the all-too-short autumn season and showcase its expanding South Loop campus that will be open for students next September. The festival is free of charge and will be held on the Plaza Level of the Roosevelt Collection, right by the new campus. A great pre-Halloween activity for the entire family, the festival includes pumpkin-decorating, hot apple cider, face painting, a taffy apple creation station, balloon animals and a special Halloween train that will circle the Roosevelt Collection. Boxed meals are also available for children.
