When a loved one has cancer, family matters. Talking to kids about cancer can bring up many questions for adults. Join in a conversation about ways to talk to children about a loved one who has cancer, treatments, possible concerns, common developmental responses, and ideas for supporting children in expressing their emotions surrounding cancer. This talk is appropriate for parents, grandparents, and other adult caregivers who have children in their lives up to 18 years old, impacted by a loved one's cancer. Presented by Chelsea Cress, M.S., CCLS, Oncology Child Life Specialist at Wellness House.
