The St. Charles Singers’ final concerts of the 2014-15 season features famous choral arrangements of folk songs from the British Isles and North America. The professional chamber choir performs all 25 works from the two-volume collection “Folk-Songs for Choirs.” Painting, in the literal sense of the word, also takes place during the performances. Local artists work at the concerts and paint scenes inspired by the music. Greg Chapman paints during the June 13 concert, Robert Pennington on June 14.
