Chicago was home to the world's first skyscraper, opened in 1884, and since then, its people have built arguably the most recognizable skyline in North America. This MCA gallery celebrates the beauty and majesty of skyscrapers through paintings, sculptures, films and more.

The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, when admission is free for Illinois residents.
