This event is for kids in first through fifth grades and a parent or caregiver to participate together. Author and art curator Debora Wood teaches the unique technique used by Marion Mahony Griffin, which uses Japanese inks on colored silk. Mahony Griffin created a series of tall botanical drawings called Forest Portraits. Participants can create a Forest Portrait of their own—inspired by the natural surroundings!
