Attend a memorial service to mark one year after his death, as noted in the Hebrew calendar. Aitz Hayim Center for Jewish Living and North Shore Congregation Israel will host a program to explore Harold Ramis’s intriguing and deep relationship with Jewish and Biblical thought. Harold had a long-time affiliation with Aitz Hayim. NPR commentator and Facets Multimedia founder Milos Stehlik and comedian and social critic Aaron Freeman will draw on film clips and videos of talks he gave at Aitz Hayim to demonstrate how Ramis was always influenced by his Judaism. He saw a complicated world with conflicting longings and desires for tranquility and change. Advance registration required.
