The Relay For Life Committee of Arlington Heights announces their return to Arlington Park after more than 10 years! Since 1985 volunteers have been “Relaying” to find a cure and put cancer out of business. On April 24, teams, volunteers, survivors and caregivers from the area will gather at Arlington Park at 6 p.m. for an overnight relay against cancer. Relay For Life is a fun filled event that mobilizes communities around the world to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loves ones, and raise money for the fight against cancer. Games, music, and live entertainment encourage attendees throughout the 12 hour event to continue to raise the funds and awareness needed to cure cancer once and for all. Businesses, families, and groups of all kinds are welcome to participate by making a donation, starting or joining a team, sponsoring the event or joining in the evening of.
