The Physics Department at Wheaton College presents a lecture by Dr. Peter Beckman. Beckman, Director of the Exascale Technology and Computing Institute at Argonne National Laboratory, speaks on how embedding lightweight sensors and computing systems into buildings, roads, household appliances, and lightbulbs holds great potential for smart city research and urban environmental science.
