To help expectant parents prepare for their new addition, Congregation Or Shalom is introducing a new four-part program to answer questions that pertain to Jewish rituals like having a bris and a baby naming, as well as what to expect those first few weeks at home. The sessions include: • “Entering the Jewish world with your baby”– including naming and bris rituals. • “Pediatrically Speaking” – Everything you want to know – don’t be afraid to ask! This session includes a discussion with a local pediatrician and lactation consultant. • “Must-have Items for baby and mom” which covers the newest and hottest items available today. (This session will take place at New Mother, New Baby, located at 3115 Dundee Road in Northbrook.) • “Life with your baby – learn from the experts” will involve a frank, honest discussion with a panel of new moms about life after baby. The program is made possible by a grant from jBaby Chicago, a program of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. The fee for all four sessions, which include dinner, is $36 per couple or $18 per person. For additional information or to register, contact Nancy at firstname.lastname@example.org or call.
