Film historian Annette Bochenek brings classic Hollywood films to the library screen, enhanced by a lively discussion. The first installment and screening is “The Awful Truth.” Actress Irene Dunne’s early years in the Midwest are featured followed by a screening of this film, which also stars Cary Grant.  Coming later this fall are: “My Man Godfrey” on Oct. 12, with a tribute to Carole Lombard and her hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. “Love Is News” on Nov. 6, with Tyrone Power featured with a discussion of his early years in Cincinnati, Ohio. Expected in attendance to discuss her father’s legacy is daughter Taryn Power-Greendeer. Attendees must register at:
