Lit & Luz Festival brings acclaimed Mexican authors and artists to Chicago for five days of readings, performances, and debut collaborations. This is a unique cultural and civic exchange between writers and visual artists from Mexico City and Chicago. This year’s festival theme, “Belonging,” asks participants and audience to consider what makes us part of a community, a city, a country? Over the course of five days, the festival will present more than dozen readings, conversations, and performances in Spanish and English. It concludes with debut collaborations from Chicago and Mexico City participants. See the website for full schedule, locations.
