Jane Mt. Pleasant, Cornell University professor and agronomist is the keynote speaker at the 8th annual Dr. Carlos Montezuma Honorary Lecture and Awards. Her address “Sustainable Food and Agricultural Systems: Lessons from Indigenous Agriculture" examines Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) farmers and their early practice of conservation tillage. Author, editor and professor, Terry Straus, and artist Doug Hyde will also be honored.
