The 2015 Luncheon theme is the American Revolution to highlight the book review that will be presented by Barbara Rinella. The book is entitled The Traitor’s Wife and tells the tale of Benedict Arnold’s wife who masterminded America’s most infamous act of treason. Guests will be greeted by Fort Sheridan soldiers, one dressed as a Colonial soldier and the other as a British soldier. At the reception before lunch, attendees will enjoy a Fashion Show featuring gowns from the Lake Forest Shop, view both the many different hats worn for the occasion and the display of silent auction items. Lunch will follow at 11:30 a.m. with announcements of winners of the hat contest and raffle. The book review will conclude the event. The proceeds will help to support the Lake Forest Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra’s many projects. Call for reservations or go to firstname.lastname@example.org.
