Pranayama, the fourth limb of yoga, is the control of life force through intentional breathing. 'Prana 'directly translates to fundamental life force, and 'yama' translates to control. The practice of conscious breathing is fundamental to yoga, and has numerous advantages for both on and off of your mat. Join us for a workshop to learn the basics of pranayama, including different styles, internal workings, and benefits as well as how to apply these techniques both on and off of your yoga mat.
