In 1893 a replica of a 9th century Viking ship sailed through the Erie Canal and into Lake Michigan as part of the World Columbian Exposition. The ship is now on temporary display at Good Templar Park. Hear from Friends of the Viking Ship President Lorraine Straw on the history and future for this ship. Coffee and snacks are being served.
