Another feature of this month's show is Jennifer Curtis and the world premiere of her new violin and mandolin composition that was recorded as a collaboration with ICE. Members of the ensemble will discuss their work after the show with Joe Shanahan, the owner of Metro/Smartbar, Doubledoor, Gman Tavern and the Daily Bar and Grill. Shanahan, according to "Chicagoist," "singlehandedly [has] the most influence on the Chicago music scene."
