3 Stars - "I'm predisposed to liking any show that exposes its dark comedic instincts right off the bat, but break up those moments with fully committed, quasi-cheesy dance moves that might as well have been choreographed by Soulja Boy? Yes, I am in. And yet, when you aspire to do a show like this — down to the suits worn by the men, a very Second City affectation — you open yourself up to a criticism that legitimately dogged Second City for decades before it realized that a cast bereft of any people of color can not reflect or satirize our lives as we live them with any kind of veracity. Homogeny in comedy can be limiting precisely because it tends to reinforce default assumptions rather than pushing against them. That's really my only beef, though, because otherwise the show is confidently executed and wonderfully twisted and absurdist, all of it written and directed by cast member Andrew McCammon." - Nina Metz
