In the spirit of recognizing that Black Lives Matter, this 2013 prize-winning film permits us to relive a dramatic event in African American history. "Let the Fire Burn" is found-footage film that unfurls with the tension of a great thriller. On May 13, 1985, a longtime feud between the city of Philadelphia and an African American activist group, MOVE, quickly escalated. Learn what happened and then join us as we Skype with Ramona Africa, a survivor of the event. The public is encouraged to register at the event website to receive email notices of future programs.
