The exhibition features more than 50 photographs presented through the lens of some of the most important Soviet photojournalists. Based on David Shneer’s novel, Through Soviet Jewish Eyes, the exhibition explores aspects of what this religious and cultural identity might have meant when confronting war and Nazi persecution through Soviet and Jewish eyes. The exhibition opening event features curator and Shneer, director of the Program in Jewish Studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Book signing to follow.
