The museum hosts the opening of a new exhibit, “The Sixties.” The exhibit features many memorable sights and sounds, taking visitors from the hopefulness of Kennedy’s “New Frontier,” the joyful frenzy of the first Beatles hits and the youthful, new fashion trends, to the political protests and assassinations of the later years. This exhibit highlights how life in Chicago and the North Shore reflected these changing times. Bring a copy of a photo of oneself or one’s family from the Sixties to tack on their exhibit bulletin board!
