Inspired by the expansive landscape of the Midwest prairie, the Robie house is defined by bold horizontal lines and masses, sheltering eaves, and dramatic cantilevered roofs. In order to create such an iconic structure, Wright used innovative ideas in design, engineering, and construction. Learn about the relationship between architecture and physics as you complete your own design challenge inspired by the Robie house. Participants will use spaghetti noodles to engineer their own cantilevered
