A new exhibit in the Rissman Family Kol Ami Museum at North Suburban Synagogue Beth El, “Crafting the Bezalel Vision: Holy Sites, Biblical Characters, and Modern Heroes in the Land of Israel,” features more than 30 leather bound books - including prayerbooks, haggadot, bibles, albums, and souvenirs – with copper and silver repousse images, along with other related items, by students and artisans associated with the Bezalel School of Arts and Crafts founded in Jerusalem in 1906. Join Lilach Schrag for an exploration and discussion of this unique style and craft.
