The Field Museum unites with the Haitian-American community to deliver another event highlighting the city's diversity. Take in a new exhibition, Vodou: Sacred Powers of Haiti, and delve deeper than the stereotypes will let you dig to experience the nation's "living religion that profoundly expresses the Haitian national experience," according to the museum's website. Hear Haitian community leaders explain why Vodou "remains such a vital force today far beyond the borders of Haiti." Also featured: a pop-up market in Stanley Field Hall with Haitian food, music and art.
