Myra Loris of Harper College Lifelong Learning Institute highlights the era of the largest immigration to Chicago — the 1890s to the 1920s. Concentrates on the settlement challenges that Poles, Italians, and Eastern European Jews experienced in Chicago. Myra explains how the Jane Addams Hull House was a response to the challenges faced by these new immigrants.
