In the 1200’s, a Native American group called the Oneota attempted to found a new village in Illinois, not far from present day Dickson Mounds. Archaeologists have pieced together some of the hardships the Oneota encountered there. This is presented by archaeologist Dr. Alan Harn, Curator Emeritus of Anthropology at the Illinois State Museum-Dickson Mounds Museum.
