Brass Day opens with a brass ensemble rehearsal for participants and Wheaton Conservatory brass players. Rehearsals are followed by master classes by trombonist Timothy Smith and the brass faculty of Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. Smith leads two masterclasses. Smith, is currently second trombonist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Email Professor Christopher Davis (chris.davis@wheaton.edu) if you have a student interested in performing. Space is limited. The final concert featuring Timothy Smith, Christopher Davis, and the participant Brass Ensemble takes place that evening at 7:30 p.m.  Registration for this event is $25 for non-Wheaton students and is due on or before Saturday, Nov.14.
