Chef-owner Paul Fehribach of Big Jones will team up with 11 outstanding chefs and butchers to present Meat Matters, an educational dinner and butchering demonstration celebrating sustainable meat practices. Eleven featured chefs including Rick Bayless, Andres Padilla and Paul Fehribach will showcase protein-rich entrées, vegetables and grains in an effort to address issues regarding meat production and consumption. The event benefits Chefs Collaborative, a national network of culinary professionals working to foster sustainable practices in restaurants. Star butchers Adam Danforth and Rob Levitt will kick off the event at 6 p.m. with a VIP demo and sampling at The Butcher & Larder, leading into a tasting station dinner at Local Foods at 8 p.m. Tickets required.
