Inspired by the broad, flat landscape of America’s Midwest, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Prairie houses were designed to exist in harmony with nature. In designing his buildings, Wright used natural building materials, a color-palette inspired by the woods and fields, and dramatic abstract designs inspired by local plants. The architect also incorporated living plants into his designs. Register online.
