Highland Park Historical Society hosts a presentation by Julia Johnas on the life and work of William W. Boyington. Learn more about this man in whose honor a pictorial installation was placed on Oct. 10 in the Highland Park train station. Boyington was the architect of Chicago’s Water Tower, the entrance to Rosehill Cemetery and many other structures, and a Mayor of Highland Park, where he resided from 1874 until his death in 1898.
