Join The Chicago Lighthouse North in Glenview until 4 p.m., for an afternoon featuring pieces from around the world that attendees can purchase through the silent auction. At 1 p.m., listen to Dr. James G. Ravin discuss how eye disease has affected many important artists through his book, “The Artist’s Eyes: Vision and the History of Art.” Dr. Ravin can sign copies of the book which are for purchase. Rachel DeWoskin, author of “Blind,” and Larry Broutman, author of “Chicago Unleashed,” also are present.
