Many doctors, educators, and parents express growing concern at the increasing number of young people who are being put on medications for AD(H)D, often diagnosed by only vague symptoms. 15 of the 18 symptoms used to diagnose AD(H)D are also symptoms of learning related vision problems! Research has shown that children with convergence insufficiency, a common treatable eye teaming problem, are 3 times more likely to be diagnosed as having AD(H)D as children without visual disorders. Come to this workshop to learn how to distinguish possible vision problems and what can be done.
