Authors and journalists Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn speak from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a reception and book signing to follow until 9:30 p.m. Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn received the Pulitzer Prize for their reporting on the Tiananmen Square democracy movement. Together, they authored “Half the Sky: Oppression to Opportunity for Women Worldwide.” The authors offer a new perspective on progress being made on human rights issues around the world with a special emphasis on emerging vocational opportunities for making a difference in the world.
