The latest piece in Langenberg’s “A Chicago Halloween” series depicting a timeless night in various Chicago neighborhoods. Langenberg, a long-time illustrator, began the series in 2011 as a way to connect his love of Halloween, favorite local landmarks and history. The series includes trick-or-treaters crossing Logan Square, Cubs specters floating above rooftops in Wrigleyville, Bucktown with a witch and goat under the old Bloomingdale Trail, and now, Andersonville’s historic water tower with tomte (Swedish gnomes) preparing for Halloween.
