This annual family-friendly event includes Warming House staff, teens, board members, corporate sponsors, and community supporters coming together to promote youth programming and services in our community. Attendees can bowl and mingle, enjoying light refreshments. The bowling and refreshments are complementary, and participants are encouraged to make a donation to the Warming House. Proceeds will benefit the Warming House, located in Howard Park, in its mission of providing a safe and supervised place for teens. The Warming House is open to all area teens in grades 6-12. Teens can participate in events such as cooking competitions, cleaning for pizza, serving dinner at a soup kitchen, multi-cultural nights, and Frisbee golf. In addition to being a fun place to hang out, the Warming House can provide counseling services and community service projects. The Warming House Youth Center is now working on its annual appeal for community support of its 44 years of service to area youth.
