In March of 1955, 15-year-old Claudette Colvin dreams of going to college to become a lawyer to fight for Civil Rights. One day, while taking the bus to school, the driver tells Claudette to give up her seat. Her refusal to give up her seat sparks a protest against the bus company and sets in motion one of the greatest moments in the Civil Rights movement.
