We recently arranged to meet a group of 8 friends here. Four arrived and were allowed to sit at the bar, and when we showed up, they would not let us in, even to go tell our friends that we were there. The bar was not crowded, but the host said there was not room for anyone else near the bar. He was very snotty and pretentious, insisting that we could go upstairs without our friends, or leave. There are plenty of awesome wine spots in the city, I don't need to waste time in one that is trying to "create a scene."

They did a fantastic job with the wine and food pairings and let me tell you the food was absolutely OUTSTANDING! We look forward to coming back in the future for tastings and other special events.

Very embarrassing for me and for Swirl. I go here often with my boyfriend and we always have a great time. So I wanted to bring my girlfriends for a night out. The Hostess on Friday was rude telling us to get out of her way, a worker (who apparently does not communicate with the hostess) promised us a table and than completely forgot about us when we all gathered our belongings upstairs to go downstairs only to see they seated other people there instead within minutes! I really am sad because this place started off as a friendly, great place for wine gatherings. Now, I have doubts about bringing people here after showcasing their lack of service.

Definately stop by on Tuesday nights to catch vocalist Erin McDougald and jazz guitarist Kyle Asche. Swirl offers an intimate space to enjoy a unique selection of wines paired with some of the finest live jazz in the city.

Tuesday nights are the night to go to this haunt. The jazz singer, Erin McDougal will blow your mind. We got her CD and my friends and I are like her groupies now! She's really someone to check out, very cool girl, great music. Also, I love the wine specials ($3) and the chicken ceasar salad is the best in the city.
BTW the waitstaff is hot as hell.

We went to Swirlon a Friday noght and was incredibly impressed with the band, service and ambiance. The owners were there and have created a stylish, relaxed atmosphere for friends or dates to hang out. We are going back this week!

Classy, hip place that focuses on doing things right instead of trying too hard to be cool. Attentive and go out of their way to ensure superior customer service. Wine recommendation was perfect, so was the price. LOVE the smoke-free policy. Music was a little too loud to talk comfortably, but they obligingly and immediately lowered the volume upon request. Will definitely be back again soon.
